About the Principal Consultant

Laura L'Heureux.Since 1996, Laura L’Heureux, the principal and sole owner of Panoptik Research & Consulting, has provided consulting services to various organizations across Canada, including federal, provincial and municipal governments, universities, schools, not-for-profits, community agencies and private sector businesses.

Laura’s background includes interdisciplinary graduate-level training in evaluation and applied research methods (Masters of Applied Social Psychology), supplemented by extensive training in organizational development, conflict management, psychometrics, social psychology and multivariate statistics. She is an active member of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), serving as the current President of the Alberta Chapter (and Vice President 2003-2006), providing evaluation training on behalf of CES through the Essential Skills Series from 2003 through 2005, and a contributing author to the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation.

Laura is also a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and has presented at the national conferences of both CES and AEA. Laura is also employed on a part-time basis as the Evaluation Coordinator for the Southern Alberta Child and Youth Health Network (SACYHN), based at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. As part of the SACYHN team, she has recently been nominated for a PeopleFirst Award, the highest award honour presented in the Calgary Health Region.
